Each year when the king and coho salmon instinctively run the tributaries of Lake Ontario it marks start of a nearly nine month long fishing season on the Salmon River. We begin our river season in mid September, and we continue through October as the fish return to their spawning grounds to reproduce. Come experience an all inclusive trip on the Salmon River for the hardest fighting and freshwater fish that swims in our waters.

One of the most acrobatic, gorgeous, and hard fighting fish you will encounter in your life swims in the waters of the Salmon river from the months of October through May. We target Steelhead trout, or migratory rainbow trout, throughout the fall, winter, and spring. Steelhead are a major draw of the region, and steelhead anglers are known for their extreme determination and passion. Trips are fully inclusive and are done all from a heated drift boat from the months of November thru May.

A gorgeous fall steelhead!
Fishing in the winter months on the Salmon River can be excellent. Fresh fish continue to enter the river sporadically, we also have wintering fish that are holding through out the river. This can make for very exciting days with limited crowds, do NOT miss out on our winter steelhead season.
A typical trip is 6-8 hours. Depending on the pace of the day and how long it takes to get through a section of river, duration varies. But plan on the full 8 hours from the time we meet in the morning to when we depart at the end of the day.
$450.00 cost applies for 2 anglers- additional $225.00 for 3rd angler.
